I can't guarantee anything but I believe this wine is the 2010 Belgravia Wines Syrah from Orange in NSW - the Belgravia site seems to be down at the moment but this wine has been on Vinomofo in a mixed case recently, won a gold medal at the Orange Wine Show in 2012, the 13% alcohol matches a listing on another site and it got 91 points from Halliday in his 2014 Wine Companion. They also specifically call it Syrah rather than Shiraz in the deal, which matches the producers naming.
Price seems to be just under $20 on other sites, so $7.20 a bottle + delivery seems to be worthwhile as a deal if the wine is as speculated above.
A lot less information to go on with the 2011 Mornington Pinot Noir at $12 a bottle (RRP $40). I noticed it was offered a couple of weeks ago and posted on OzBargain, did anyone happen to get that delivered yet or see information on what it was? I'm interested in this deal too but very cautious about buying 2011 Australian wines (except for some areas like the Hunter Valley or much of WA) unless I have more information.
Oh yay!! Another Vinomofo spam.
Maybe tomorrow. I'll post whatever their new deal is… Or maybe we can start posting catch of the day deals
