Applied for the low fee mastercard from the deal here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/134364, followed all the correct steps and applied with the $100 cash back offer being plastered all over the application page.
I have used it to purchase a couple of things and have yet to receive my $100 cash back from the campaign so I gave commbank a call.
The customer representative let me know that I supposedly applied on the 27th of February and the campaign began on the 1st of March so I will not be getting my cashback, however, I can see people on through the comments applying earlier than me and receiving their $100 cash back.
They have logged my conversation with them and now every other representative refers to the notes on my file and won't give me the $100 cash back referring exactly to what the first representative has put down.
Is there anything else I can do, or should I just close my account?

If there is evidence that Commbank honoured the cashback for other people who applied before the promotion start date then you may have a case ie: why them, not you?
Maybe give the Dept of Fair Trading a call and get their opinion?
