You must have a relaxed cinema, most won't let you bring outside food or drinks in. Not Hoyts/Village?
KFC during movies is the best lol, make some effort to conceal, but play it cool too
Sometimes people don't want to be stingy or be seen as stingy at the cinemas as they usually go with friends etc.
(I personally am not fussed) but sometimes it is a nice treat to get their hot pop corn and choc top)
Also how are you going to bring that coke cold?
You would need to refrigerate at home before hand then bring it in an esky with ice slip it into your pocket or gilfriend/wife handbag. With the event at Marion they don't let you take in other food or drink so you need to hide it.
Most cinema chains in Australia allow outside food and drinks, as long as it's not hot food. BCC/Greater Union tried to ban it about a decade ago, then reversed the ban within a year due to public outrage.

You could probably just go to Maccas and get 2 large cokes, which would be better value than B1G1F at Event cinemas.
You could also get 14 soft serves for the same price as a choctop.
Lulz. I always take my own drinks from the Food Court into my local Hoyts. Walk in with 1L milk tea from ezyway. Zero f**ks given.
I saw $7.00 for a bottle of Pump water! always amazes me the price people pay for convenience
Fun fact: If you were to take a 5 minute shower, using bottled pump water at that cost, the shower would cost you $875.
I go to Events Marion and always bring my own snacks for the kids. Yesterday in fact we went to Wendys and got the kids hotdogs to eat during the movie. Never had a problem! They are actually pretty good.
Yeah event at marion i frequently take in HJs bags etc they could not care less!
I often remind the wife that she asks me why I always insist on taking a whopper in with me, i reply, honey I have a whopper with me everywhere I go, you know this!
