I walked in this afternoon and bought one at this price (but there is no stock of MotoGP expected until Friday at the earliest).
This actually caught their staff by surprise, given the other $449 deal was already printed and posted up instore.

If they were gonna release a HD version of the wii they would have said so at E3 which was a few weeks ago!
i think wii HD is not a rumour BUT they don't intend to release it till 2011 (read this in tech magazine whilst I was in SE Asia earlier this week). A few quick google searches confirmed this too. No idea why Dickos is clearing them out though.
What IS coming out soon is wiifit plus, but still not that much reason for dickos to be selling this cheap. And clearly not a pricing error or they would have fixed it by now.

I picked it up yesterday from the Mulgrave, Victoria store. They told me Moto GP would be in as early as tomorrow. The guy at the desk was aware of the deal and that they had to mark it down, so im tipping it wont last long. Good result.

anyone know the trade in value of moto gp at the usual places. Racing games aint my thing…
Just went in and picked up my wii + wii fit.. Seems like nobody has the motogp in stock so from tomorrow you have an option of 2 additional games.. world sports party + something else. The stores have just been sent the info so should know about it when you ask.

I just got one of these and I took out the 2 year Extended replacement Warantee for $46 they will replace the unit if i have any troubles and even replace it with a new version if there is a new HD version released ..

Likewise - AWESOME DEAL - thanks for the heads up. I just picked mine up from Dick Smiths in Woolloongabba (on Logan Road). They ran out of the MotoGP game, so they swapped it with a party 8-in-1 type game.
my mate almost got trick by one of the salesman into this deal when they got no motogp and ask him to take this game, only found out motogp worth $79 but this party game only worth $26 …

JB hifi blacktown said they will price match but they are also out of stock of motogp
I just got a call from Dick Smith. They are out of all stock of motoGP at the warehouse and are not expecting any. They want to replace with Mario Power Tennis.

I was in a DSE picking up some MotoGP games for some bundles I purchased when this deal was on. Apparently the total cost price to DSE stores for this deal was $425 ($27.20 for MotoGP), so they were losing money hand over fist.
would have been great if it was seedless like the one's from Woolworths
