Was walkin' through Target Cannington(WA) today and saw these Datel Blade FX Wireless Nunchuks on some random bottom shelf on special from $29.95 down to $9.88. I've gotten home and tried it, and it works okay. I think I might pick one more up tomorrow just to check how the two interact with each other, to see if you can use more than one in a single room.
I think the great thing about this is the size of the receiver, it's small enough that it might just fit in other Wii Remote Add-ons, etc. like tennis rackets, lightsabers, etc. Since it's so cheap too, you can pick it up almost just as an extra nunchuk (maybe so you don't spoil your real wired Nintendo one?)
I'd also just like to share some tips for the Wii enthusiasts out there, kinda made a great deal yesterday… So in a previous post I happened onto a bunch of Kmart $15 dollar games (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/13844) that I then used to swap for 2 Grand Slam Tennis with Wii MotionPlus. (If you're interested, Game still has Wonderworld Amusement and Ghost Squad online for $19, which you can use to trade.) ANYWAY, so I kept the two Wii MotionPlus adapters, and brought the two Grand Slam Tennis (sorry not my thing) games to EBGames, who are currently givin' $38 dollar store credit for each one, plus 10% because of an Edge card, which equals to $41.80 x 2, equals $83.60 worth of store credit. If I've lost you, here's a recap… I spent $60 dollars on 4 games, then traded it in for 2 Grand Slam Tennis', and only kept the 2x Wii MotionPlus, which cost 30 dollars each anyway, so I'm at par. AND THEN, I got EBGames to price match JB-Hifi's House of the Dead: Overkill BANG BANG BOX Set instore at $89 (http://www.jbhifionline.com.au/Product/406980)
AND ONLY PAID $5.40 for it. (That's a 94% saving.)
So now I have these two AWESOME hand cannons that are just the best Wii accessories EVER. FINALLY… goin back to the original topic of this post, I sawed off bits of the wireless nunchuk receiver (hey, it's just $9.88), the part that clips at the bottom of the Wii Remote, and it fits snugly within the hammer chamber of the pistol. So now I can play games like Red Steel, which require you to 'flick' the nunchuk, without being impeded by a wire, or without doing it awkwardly in a Wii Zapper. To the Wii owners out there who know what I'm talking about, seriously, try it, it's awesome.
Pant, pant. K m done.
great find + effort to list this deal
