  • Do you have things you can put on the wall to hide cables from a wall mounted tv?
    Thanks

    • Hi Treeman..

We have TV Wall Mount brackets with built in cable management such as this item:
      http://www.customht.com.au/32-to-60-tv-wall-mount-with-cable…

We don't currently have anything just to hide the cables tho in stock, but if you wanted to contact us through the website I can check with all our suppliers and should be able to find you something suitable.

    • If you're not renting/happy to put a hole in the wall:
      http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=PS0297

      • We sell a better quality range of a similar product for $10.95 and would likely turn out to be cheaper since we offer free postage on all items.

They can be seen at the bottom of this page.
        http://www.customht.com.au/av-wall-plates-inserts/custom-av-…

        • I don't see how these work, Yes we are not renting so can do anything.

        • I was looking for something more like this:

          http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/111268202414?ssPageName=STRK:MEWA…

        • That will hide the cables, but you'll still be able to see the block running up the wall.

The ones the rep mentioned, you cut a hole into the wall and screw in these plates (just like a light switch or power point)! You have one down low and another above behind the TV and feed the cables in down through the wall out the bottom!
Much tidier and you shouldn't see anything!

But my advice is not to go near them if you've never fitted off your own GPOs or switches, or have never cut a hole in a plaster wall… And especially if you've never fed cables through a stud wall!

Funnily enough, I'll be getting some next week for my new house!

        • Would it be possible as we have a dvd player and pvr underneath?

        • +1

Perfectly possible… And like I said, a much tidier finish! Same thing I'm doing, as I don't want to see anything between my cabinet and tv apart from a blank painted wall!
But it's not always easy to get cables down a wall past the noggins, etc.
External brick walls aren't usually too bad as there's a small gap between the brick work and stud wall. Internal walls can often be a little bit trickier if the noggins run flat the same width as the studs. Meaning there's no space between the timber and the plaster!

I'm 'kind of' lucky as I had to cut a fair chunk of wall out to fix an internal water pipe last week. So I've decided I might as well do a few bits and pieces before I get the plasterer in to fix everything up in one hit!

  • Any stands for computer monitors?

    • Unfortunately we don't currently stock any stands for computer monitors.

  • I contemplated a pair of these http://www.customht.com.au/3-5kg-universal-speaker-wall-moun… but they are far cheaper on eBay even with the 20% off
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2X-Universal-Surround-sound-speak…

  • Did I miss something, or do you only have the 37" to 63" Full Motion Tv Wall Mount in kit form? Was looking for just the mount, but have only just started research on models & prices (need a swivel mount for a 50" mounted in the corner of a room, so can pop out & point to different opposite walls).
