Missed out on a hard drive earlier? Well Big W also have 16GB Lexar USB drives on sale also for $5. Click and collect would be the best option obviously here though!

Any way to get around this?

A minimum order value of $40 is required for Click & Collect orders

  • BUT … the minimum for click and collect is $40 and post is capped at $9.

  • Order 8? Sell 7 on ebay for $8 each?

  • Maybe buy some for work mates/family/friends? Cheap Easter present instead of chocolate :)

Anyone know which models are the pick of the bunch for transfer speed and/or quality?

  • Noob question… but can you buy these in store?

don't think so, you can get the 32gb s50 version in store for $16 but its slow

Having a quick look around, it looks like most if not all are really slow. e.g 5 mins for 1.4g movie, fk that

Good for storage, but devices relatively slow. Reviews I've read report 3-4MB/s write and 16Mb/s read speeds.

  • yeah nowhere does it say which USB spec so must be old 2.0, not better faster 3.0.

Do you seriously expect USB3 flash drives to go at $5?

  • 2 fushcia coloured ones left.
    other colours sold out.
