    Yeah, they are heavier, and the form factor is slightly larger than other 2.5" portable drives. I have borrowed one of these before and they do seem sturdier than other drives.

  how's this for an USB powered? It hought Jb hi fi was ditching some for $55-65 last i walked instore, the western digital? 1.5 gb? or 2gb?

  Just wondering if $129 is a steal that's all, as I can wait for space if it means that you can get a 2gb for under $100 when on sale usually?

    It's not a bad price. MSY has it for $149.
    Staticice shows other cheaper Samsung 2TB drives for $142 (not delivered)

    You probably came across the 1TB models for $55-$65 at jb hifi

  This is a much better price than the gold sony 1TB portable hdd ($90) posted yesterday
