I was shopping around for a doona recently and found this one half price on the Tontine online store. They are currently offering free shipping and 30% off orders over $100. The discount doesn't apply unless you add another full priced item then remove it and it can then be bundled with the 10% extra for new registrations. The prices come down to:

Queen bed: $72.45 (was $229.95)
King bed: $78.74 (was $249.95)

Single and double don't seem to work.

Note that I received the item today and the labelling is different and RRP higher (see http://www.tontine.com.au/quilts/wool/tontine-all-seasons-wa…), although the product appears same. From what I can tell the labelling is changed for each retailer. With the higher RRP the discount works out to be 71%.

  As an anecdote, I've had a wool doona for years now and wouldn't buy a feather one again. I live in Wodonga, and without a word of a lie it stays on the bed summer and winter regardless of ambient temperature. I find it just plain comfortable all the time. Wool is fantastic!

  Heavy means good quality " sturdy" wouldn't like light wool, probably made else where not here.

  I just bought a queen wool quilt and it said $72.45 when I put my credit card in and clicked the submit order button. BUT, when i received my invoice by email it says $103.49. So I feel like Ive been ripped off!!! I just emailed them to ask them why. I took a screen grab of the page that says $72.45 and the 30% off discount on the front page (it doesnt say that you cant use the 30% off on sale items anywhere I can see). Did anyone else have that problem?

    Just to be sure, did you check the full email? Mine says 100 subtotal, then dis outs apply afterwards, finally landing at the correct price.

    Also what does your credit card statement say? (check online)

      Definitely says $103.49! But I think it's still okay price! I must have stuffed something up when I entered it all in our maybe I wasn't fast enough to place order!

  Queen Quilt said RRP $209.95 on the barcode (in the picture) and on the website they say it was reduced from $229.95. Bit of a lie.

  10OFF_REGISTRATION no longer works now if you purchase a double quilt

    I have just placed an order and 10OFF_REGISTRATION works for me.

    I add 2 full price pillow packs to the shopping bag (Total value $44.9).
    Apply the 10OFF_REGISTRATION coupon code.
    Then I add 2 Quilts (Single/double) to the shopping bag.
    Go to check out. 30% discount and the coupon code applied.
    Change the quantity of the Quilt back to 1 and the discount remain.
    This way I got 30% discount + 10% discount with the coupon code.

    So if you need some pillows as well as a Quilt, you may want to have a try.

    By the way, I used paypal and the price did not go up

    P.S. The 30% discount did not applied if I remove both the pillow packs after changing the quantity of the Quilt.

      Yes, it would not work if you only purchased one double quilt. You would have to either purchase 2 or other items as you did.

  Doing some googling I've noticed that there are many different types of packaging for what seems like the same product. You'd think a 375gm All Seasons Tontine washable wool quilt would be the same product regardless? (for those who missed out on this deal.)

  The packaging in the picture appears to be for David Jones whereas what I received appeared to be the Myer version. Seems to be like the market for beds - labelling the same product differently makes it more difficult for consumers to compare prices and easier for retailers to set their own RRP.
