    People who don't want to run two clients to play one game? The Steam version opens up Uplay anyway.

      Steam gives you both options though. Once you have it installed, you don't need Steam to play it.

        My experience with Farcry 3, after purchasing the uPlay version, was that it allowed me to install it via the Steam client. As per posters comments above uPlay was still required to launch the game.

  I will still wait when it drops to around $10. It will eventually considering how Ubisoft keeps cutting the price of its games.

  How do you actually purchase this? It seems to only be available for US customers:
