Hmm was hoping for 13-15 cents per tablet…

    • You may get 15-16c a tablet for the Finish Classics, but never for these All-in-1 powerballs.

      • I've still got some Free Fairy dish washing tablets from last time…but might bite on these to stock up.
        Thanks

Let us know how they taste.

  • Nearly all Finish sales these days are for Powerball Tablets.
Anyone seen any discounts on the old Finish Powder, which some older machines require?

I am almost tempted based on the 10 power actions. The Local version I bought from Woolies last week only has 6

  • Any sort of major noticeable differences between import and local stock?

    • Sometimes they have the dissolving shrink wrap instead of the plastic wrap. I've only seen this on ones that come in a plastic sack instead of a box though.

  • Cheers OP :)

  • THANKUAPR for 15% off? (May require an account with a recent order)

do these tablets have "expiry date"? what happens if they are "expired"?

    • +3

they don't clean your dishes once expired.

      • They discolour a little bit, but seem to still work fine.

      • +1

do they refuse, or is it a union thing?

        • It's simply the date when they finish

  • Thanks I am using Quantum but i'm sure these will do the same job

    • Better job according to choice. May depend on dishwasher though!

  • Thanks! Just ordered

  • Thanks OP. Just bought 336 :)

  • These appear to be on sale at woolies for $13 / box of 56.

    • Woolworths stock the all-in-one variety?

  • What do these Tabs do what normal dishwashing powder doesn't … I know it is convenient but isn't it just marketing and branding.
My dishes are perfectly clean with the cheap homebrand or Aldi powder … never got the hype about the tabs … maybe someone can convince me that they are not a waste of money.

As you mentioned, convenience. Pick it up put it in turn it on. Done. Measured ready to go.

    • How cheap is powder that $55/yr seems to be a waste?

      • A packet is around $2 - $3 … to match 336 loads you would need around 3 - 4 packets … so this makes it $6 -$12. So around 50$ cheaper per year.

I tried tabs before and could not see a difference.

    • Powder never fails to leave everything, well, powdery after a wash. No matter how much or little we use.

Tablets on the other hand give an amazing clean.

  • Out of stock

  • any chance of still getting this somehow?

    will they re-stock?

and does this price happen often, just got a dishwasher and with powder it barley seems to clean!

    • Interesting. While I won't dismiss that it was powder not cleaning (see my next comment) ensure that dishes are stacked properly. I find this is why bowls are not cleaned sometimes and I need to leave a space in between them for water to penetrate the gap in between them.

Phenomenal deal for what it is although I have to disagree with the "better than Classic" comment.

I decided to try no-name Coles Powder for $2 (I think?) and I couldn't tell the difference. I'm not what you'd call a good user of Dishwashers either: almost all my dishes do not get rinsed and I go days in between using it meaning some dishes sit there for days.

Essentially I couldn't tell the difference between this and any other product other than - perhaps - glass wasn't as shiny. It wasn't as if it jumped out at me or anything though. I'm pretty sure the shine doesn't come from being cleaner than something else though rather it's an added product that is deposited on the glass.

It doesn't make sense to me that a surfactant based product can be improved greatly and I believe the actual improvement in utility is basically non-existent. Effective marketing and status is why people buy the more expensive product IMO.

    • Sounds like someone's upset they missed out on the deal…

    • Fully agree.

By the way …no need to rinse dishes. It's usually a waste of water. When you have some "smelly" dishes in the the half full dishwasher … just run the rinse cycle (5-10min) … it uses far less water than the manual rinsing.

    • We use Coles powder (when we run out of tablets and forget to buy more) and it's useless. Leaves a powdery white layer on everything.
