Anyone in the know?
Doesn't affect other services. Have whatsapp/gmail on my phone with this disabled and no issues.
If it does have problems , you can simply re-enable it and wait for it to update again.
LOL
Why did OP have to make 2 topics?
Edit:
Another brilliant post brought to you by MasterNoob: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/137770
I disabled a lot of the Samsung Apps and other applications that came with my S2.
This freed up space for my applications, improved performance and battery life.
For a older phone like the S2, you can also enable the developer menu and reduce animation times.
There are a few threads on XDA, one with a spreadsheet on what's safe to remove (eg: for the S3 http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/themes-apps/applic…).
Where is the down vote for OP button for stating the obvious.
i assume this wont affect other push services like email, whatsapp etc?
