Disposable batteries in 2014?
Are people aware just how cheaply they can buy eneloop batteries on amazon and elsewhere? They don't lose lots of charge sitting in storage or in low drain devices and they perform better in high current applications and have far less chance of leakage if my experience is anything to go by. I have yet to see any leak.And they don't need to be thrown away after a short time…
"Disposable batteries in 2014?"
Can't see a problem with that.
Can't see a problem with that.
Me neither. Aside from:
* the false economy of buying them for 99.99% of uses.
* disposable batteries leaking into our soil after being thrown away after a mere one use
* the high cost of this single charge
* the prevalence of leaking
* the very few scenarios where you'd actually need one over a rechargeable which you could keep for many years and which could save you a small fortune
* the total ignorance about low-self-discharge batteriesThe logic baffles me.
I'll continue to bring this up. Downrank some more please.You don't recycle?
You don't recycle?
I should start copying and pasting text. It would save me time. Does that count?
http://www.duracell.com/en-us/battery-care-and-disposal/disp…My local couoncil sure doesn't offer battery recycling.
99.99% of people throw them out in the normal waste, I am guessing. Is that far off, you reckon?
Beware, lots of complaints about these leaking (see reviews).
