God last time I post a wine deal. The Old Faithful 'Northern Exposure' Grenache 2006 is wonderful wine. Thought it was good value as its normall like $40.I absolutely can't stand the catch group (including vinomofo) if its any consultation (had many bad CS experiences). They're not part of the catch group anymore. I've bought heaps from them before. All I'm saying is that over the last few weeks their deals have appeared here on mass, whereas before they weren't. Yes the Northern Exposure looks decent, but the rest are unproven. The Hewitson is 2011, an indifferent vintage in many places. Why risk it when other vintages are often highly discounted. The others may be okay but who knows and who calls their wine "the orgy" unless you're full of your own marketing crap?
Vino mofo have had heaps better deals lately. They recently flogged a heap of Blue Poles wines that were an an absolute steal for example.

I agree. They are a business where everything they sell is heavily discounted. It's a bit like posting one of catch of the day's deals every day. I think vinomofo posts can be reserved for their best bargains only
True. The only problem with wine is that it is very subjective. A steal for one could be lost money for others.
