With the days getting shorter and the weather getting colder, why not sit in front of the fireplace with a 500ml bottle of quality brown ale for $2.99. Appears to be QLD stores only.

        BWS on Albert St in Brisbane is selling them for $3 a bottle. I saw this yesterday and grabbed one. I'll probably get some more today :P

      I'm in QLD and that is still the price on the stores I have checked. I bought it this morning for click and collect at $2.99.

    A BWS store I went to yesterday was also selling these for $3, but not the other Hook Norton beers. I wonder if that was a single store special or a chain deal?

    Seems like QLD only. Other states have them listed as "clearance" at $4.99.

    I'm in Brisbane - $4.99/bottle - so not all of Qld, that's for sure.

    EDIT : However, set my store to North Lakes and lo and behold, the price drops to @2.99. YMMV, but if you're in Qld, set your store to see what your price is.

    Quite a few stores with stock in SE QLD. eg, Victoria Point, The Gap, Deception Bay, Noosaville, Kawana, Strathpine, Chermside, etc.

    $5 off $15 AMEX Danmurphy offer makes it tempting.

    $55 per case for me as well (NSW) but I still plan to pick one up tomorrow, so thank you OP for bringing that beer to my attention! It sounds like a winner.

    $55 isn't even too bad at full price! Very impressed. Will keep my eye on the link for the potential drop to $34 in NSW too :)
