The Mens Shop is now Van Heusen

As the motto says, "Style can be bought". It appears The Mens Shop is now gone and in its place everything is Van Heusen. Anyone know what happened?

    The words we got is that they have "rebranded".

    Yep, apparently same people but now operating as Van Heusen. A real shame really, I really liked TMS and its variety.

    I bought my best store-bought shirts from these guys. Only ones that fit me off the rack. :(

    TMS were owned by the same group who own Van Huesen, Pierre Cardin, CK etc in Australia. The change doesn't make sense or appeal to me. I get the feeling we'll just be seeing the usual 40% off shirts deals that we see at Myer from now on instead of the sales they had as TMS.

    What are the alternatives out there these days? Most of my purchases have been from TMS in recent times.

      Yep, sounds like a dumb move in terms of growth strategies.

      EDIT: Also I only knew about this since I got a Van Heusen newsletter when I never subscribed to them and then I realised it was the same template as TMS.

    i loved their variety but i wont buy van heusen. bought two at Myer and the sleeve button was almost falling off on both. In fact i think all my suits are from there. What a shame

    They were the only place for me to get quality CK business shirts at good prices. Please don't tell me I now have to pay RRP at Myer/DJs.
