I go through quite a lot of AA & AAA alkaline batteries. Dick Smith and JB HI Fi used to have good deals from time to time, but not for a while. Can anybody recommend a cheap source of these?

The Varta's at Bunnings are a known good brand and usually cheap for a bulk buy.
If only there were some reliable rechargable batteries available…
