I'm wondering if this offer will become available to Australia. Could make some nice bargains. If a Surface for <$400 pops up I think I'll pull the trigger.

nah, if i had to use windows it would be xp. i think i'd used osx if apple's computers weren't so friggin' overpriced. at the moment i'm happy with linux
It puzzles me how anyone would willingly choose to use XP over Windows 7.
we have gotten some surface deals in the past, although they haven't seemed up to par with US ones iirc. not too sure, fingers crossed though!
M$ has to pay customers to use their new operating system.
