Dan Murphy's currently has Penfolds Kalimna Bin 28 Shiraz on special for $27.50 each when you buy 6 and you also get a free bottle of Bin 2 (worth $30) for each 6 you buy.
Therefore [(6 x 27.50) - 30] / 6 = $22.50ea

Other places are selling for $40+ea so I couldn't resist and bought 30+ bottles.
I understand the purchase. It's a lovely wine. You're not a poor student though ;)
No, that was November 2012. Now he's RichGraduate.
Off you go then.
good that the title is now fixed and clearer.
Still can't agree that its $22.50 a bottle, unless anyone was already getting the Bin 2 (which is less than $30 in any 6 bottle purchase anyway)
For me it is $165/7 = $23.57 ea for the 7 bottles (prior to any cashback)
anyone buying should remember to start from their cashback site
Cashback on wine is up to 11%
You could always refund the Bin 2 @ $28.19ea (price of 6 btl purchase).
how do you get a refund for a free bottle???
You get charged for the bottle of Bin 2 and get a discount (price of Bin 2) before the Total amount payable.
good luck with that!
Does it work ?
I have no intentions of refunding the Bin 2 so I wouldn't know.
But I went to purchase more today and they only had 3 left so I got 3 for $27.50ea + 1 free btl of Bin 2.
so are you calling those three 17.50 each after you deduct $30 again
.. but well done to get a free bottle for only buying 3
im new to this cashback thing - i've seen it mentioned in other deals - which one are you using?
A poor student is buying Bin 28?
