I once drank beer about 2-3 months past its best before date (found it far away in the cupboard) and it tasted nothing like the beer it was supposed to be. It basically went off. If you don't know what Singha Beer tastes like then you may be ok even though it may taste like S%#t, otherwise it is not worth the risk for $28.

  • I had some year past corona, a whole case in fact that was kept in good temperature range. It tasted fine.

    • The beer I had was a Lager which ended up going a bit unclear as it was brewed naturally with barley hops etc and so there was some settlement on the bottom too… Not sure about the Singha Lager beer, but Coronas would probably keep for a few years past their date as they are smooth.

That said, Singha sucks in date even when in Thailand.

So much better than that horrid counterfeit Singha Beer.

But… it probably still tastes better than VB.

    • I can assure you Singha tastes better than VB. Some people just being so proud it is Australian but the fact is it seriously sucks.

      • I cannot think of many things that taste worse than VB.
Even drinking your own urine after a night of VB must taste better. At least then it's been filtered by your kidneys and hopefully it will have some flavour.

        • Well, if the urine hasn't been chilled, there will be plenty of taste… probably not a lot of the good kind :(

It should be $10 or less for passed best date beer.

  • I was about to post that $14 for a sixpack was nothing special but I can't read - these are 630ml bottles, so it's not a bad deal

  • a beer's a beer, right. kind of.
