Was just in my local Woolworths(Sebastopol) and noticed they had a tag for the Holeproof Explorer Mens Socks Navy Size 11-14 and Charcoal Size 6-10 on a specials trolley for $3.00.
There were none left on the specials trolley, so I went to their normal shelf position where they were marked for $5.00 as noted here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/137306
I grabbed two pair of the Navy 11-14 and sure enough they scanned at $3.00.
The tag on the specials trolley had a start date of today and end date the 24/03/14.
I don't know if other sizes are also discounted to $3.00 or if the same deal is available in other stores.

    i can vouch for these. my sock drawer consists of one and only one pair of black explorers, and ill give it to you straight, theyve lasted over 5 years with ease and theyre still as good as new. in fact im wearing them right now while typing this… :-)

        i can absolutely confirm this, in fact, me and my wife have had a few arguments over me never letting her wash them. so naive…
