That's a very personal opinion. For some, this might be daggy, for others it's funky.

Yes it is, that's what the comments are for…
:)
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Would be nice if you offered free shipping on single units - I can't see how a small case would be more than $1.80
Maybe they use Funky envelopes ?
Yep - I want to buy the vinyl skins - they probably cost 60c to post as they are flat. Not paying $5 for postage.
Yeah I'm wanting a cork one and don't see how that would be more than 60c, given how lite the material is.
60c is for the stamp.
there is cost involved with the envelope or satchel as well as someone to label it, pack it and send it…
I asked their live chat, I was told Aust Post actually charges them $7. But if you spend over $100, free postage!
No cases for the 5s? Or do the 5 and 5s share the same cases?
And yep, $5 postage for one case is a bit crummy.EDIT: The person from their live chat said that Aust Post actually charges them $7 for postage. But they only charge us $5. I guess I can't complain when it's 80% off.
Exactly. Aus Post charges any business at least $6.45, which makes really difficult to make the shipping less than $5.
That's why we only give free shipping for orders over $100.
If one day we increase our sales, we might give free shipping for all orders. However, now, it's very difficult to do it :(Factoring in shipping the cork case still looks cheaper than elsewhere (from a quick search), got one - thanks OP.
Letter size guidelines
To be considered a letter, your item must:
- weigh less than 500g
- contain flexible items
- have a rectangular shape
- be no larger than a B4 envelope (260mm x 360mm x 20mm)
- be no thicker than 20mmSmall letter up to 250g 130 x 240 x 5mm $0.60
Large letter up to 125g 260 x 360 x 20mm $1.20
Large letter up to 250g 260 x 360 x 20mm $1.80A case could easily be sent as a letter…
You're right. The case can be sent as a letter.
However, this is the price of the letter ONLY. Not the price of the freight. You have to pay the letter itself and then the freight costs.
It's not even a Zingness issue, but a Aus Post issue.
Go on their website and calculate the postage to your neighbour (http://auspost.com.au/apps/postage-calculator.html).
There is a difference between the package you buy and the cost of postage.Package = $0.6
Postage = $6.45 min
Guys,
If anyone goes to Aus Post now, they will charge at least $6.45 to send anything even if you are sending it to someone next door.
Unfortunately there is no other freight company doing it for less than this price. It's really hard for us to make the price cheaper than that, even if is a light product.
However, we subside part of the freight to make it better for you. So, doesn't matter how many kgs or items you put in your cart, we will always charge you $5 flat, which makes the deal much better.
If you try any other store, they will charge each item that you have in your cart.

I got a case from ebay delivered recently in a padded envelope with 2 x 60 cent stamps on it…
Stamp and boxes are around 60 cents. The freight cost is minimum $6.45
Actually that isn't true. I do know sellers who post in bubble mailers at large letter rate (as long as no deeper than 20mm). Total for mailer + postage would be around the $2 mark (a little more if buying AP mailers). Can post more than one in bigger mailer if taped side by side, would then (probably) be $1.80 plus mailer.
You are talking about normal postage and not the eParcel plan of AusPost which is the service provided by them for professional business.
True, but it is also an option to use instead of eParcel. I was more pointing out that the figures others mentioned were correct.
I know a lot of people in business who use eParcel (as well as other postal options) some find eParcel too dear, some find it useful.
BTW, I am also in a business.
I can see lots of Daggy ones, where are the Funky ones ???
