Mini for $39 (Online and in-store)
Not the best for the mini but the glo's price is $29 less than previous.

Is it only the store you went to that had it?
The Glo was in store only but the salesperson checked and it was company wide. Dick Smith seem to be clearing kobo out and sell only Kindle.

The perfect companion to the recent Kobo 90% off coupon. The Glo price is great if your store has one. As Dick Smith operate the electronics division of DJ I wonder if they will have the same soon.

You can patch the Glo only to use android. I dont know if google play is available.
I can't imagine the app compatibility to be very good on this hardware.

Absolutely, I have done this on my Glo. If I remember correctly, the green led used to blink the whole time it was on and I could never turn the backlight off completely. I don't remember what battery life was like, the novelty wore off quite quickly for me
Got the last Glo from Parramatta. Someone put 4 on hold apparently.

ThanksThanks OP. Found a DJ's with 2 in stock and got JB HiFi to price match (as usual, needed to try a couple of different assistants). Scored myself quite a few (including two to upgrade the Minis that I bought for my kids at $19).
BTW, for those looking. No stock left in DJ's Sydney CBD, Chatswood. Heard from the DJ's person yesterday doing a stock lookup that there might be 2 at Castle Towers.
Glo for $69 is awesome price.
