Why do the 3 crowbars in my garage have a pry at one end and a wedged hook at the other? Are they still called pry bars here? Just more functional ones?
EDIT: according to Wikipedia if it doesn't have the curved hook then its called a spud bar. Go figure.
You're right, i think pry bar is just for prying generally and crow bar has more functions, including prying.
Easiest is to imagine two people having a fight, one with pry bar and one with crow bar
