Can I add something here, the battery life is no means bad. I currently own one for uni and bought another one here for one of my siblings as a birthday gift and I never take the charger with me, my longest days are around like 8 hours or so and unless I use it for the whole 8 hours, I can actually get a whole day's use out of it easily. Just remember to charge it every night and you'll be fine.
I agree. I purchased one during this special and the battery life is reasonable.
Sure you have to charge it every day, unlike an iPad. But this has a Core i5… unlike an iPad :)

JB in Parramatta did $539 pricematch no problem last week. They didn't even ask to see MS Store deal. They even offered to do a type cover for extra $120, but they only had pink in stock so I declined.

JB in Leichhardt price matched this no problem and did the type cover for $99. Added bonus they bundled it with some trend micro anti virus that I didn't want until I noticed it comes with $30 cash back. Only downside you have to install it to claim the cash back.
