Nintendo Wii Fit for $99 and BabyLove Jumbo Nappies for $16.49 @ Toys R us

420

1 post for 2 bargains from Toys R Us.
Nintendo Wii Fit for $99 (lowest price ever, and it's quite true as i've never seen it under $100).
Baby Love jumbo nappies for $16.49 (works out to be less than 20c per nappy, cheaper than Aldi).
How good is the Baby Love nappies tho, compared to Huggies?

Thats awesome to see it under $100.

  • Agreed … wii fit for under $100 is a great deal!
Best price I've seen it previously is $124

  • That's a bargain!

  • wow, that's insanely cheap.
    hopefully they have stock.

    • picked one up at rundle mall store, playing it now. it's sweet!

  • If you live close to a Good Guys store or drive past one to work it might be worthwhile buying one from there
and then going back to get a 120% back of the difference or you could just price match it, if you couldn't be bothered.

The Wii fit is currently $139 at the good guys.
So under there 120% difference. You would get back $48 back.
    Making the Wii $91 :)

Plus you will also be eligible for the $30 Gaming Store Credit which is still avaliable when you purchace any gaming product over $80.

    • Good idea, but they won't honour it if it's not in stock @ toys r Us , which would happen as soon as they open :)

Target, Myer and DJ are willing to match price. Time to put those myer and DJ giftcards into good use~

  • Best price for wii fit EVER.

  • Has anyone got any specials on the wii console + some starter games? Best price I could see was $388 from http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/13260 ; makes this close to $500 with the wii fit; not too bad I guess for a newish console, but $500 for console hardware in these recessionary times still feels a little pricey to me (who plays games just occasionally, and only bought an original Xbox when the price dropped below $100, and just wants something that'll be an inexpensive toy).

    • You're not really going to find many deals significantly less then $388 imo.

    • JB Hifi has Wii + 2 games (Wii Sports, Carnival Games & World Sports Party) for $399. Wii sports is bundled with the console anyway. Best value I have seen so far, typically because retailers do not discount games much.
      http://www.jbhifi.com.au/games/nintendo/wii/

Personally, it was a good option for me as I like the variety of options it gives you if you are an occasional player(Wii sports has 6 games, Sports Party has 5 or 6, Carnival has 25+). So, you don't get bored just playing the one game all the time.

I bought it earlier this month, and the sales person at JB in Macquarie Shopping Centre was willing to swap one of the titles for another one, if I did not fancy either the Carnival or the World Sports games.

So what's the OP saying exactly? New mum's have got fat having a baby and can work it off with the Wii Fit? :p

    Great deal.

  • The best price i've seen for Wii Console + Wii Fit is $438 @ Toys R Us, and DJ, Target, BigW were happy to match price. Myer won't match price on bundles.

  • NAPPIES ARE A BARGAIN TOO

  • hey i went to Jb today and they wasnt able to match the price as they said it was below their purchase price.

  • Also saw Wii Fit for $99 at EB games in Supa Centre Sydney.

    • Wow…really?

      • yep!

  • I think Harvey Norman is easier to price match. I did that last Saturday at HN Martin place for $99. I even used one of their PC to show them the online catalog. They said it was below cost but it's their policy to match it.
You can buy it off for $149 and return it the second day for them to match it at 110%. But that's too much hassle for only $5.
    Hope that helps.

    • below cost at HN??? LOL they so lied to you.

    • "Below cost" is a much misused term in the retail trade. It maybe below "invoice cost", but the retailer typically gets a rebate from the manufacturer at the end of the year / quarter.
