First Post - be kind.

This is a follow-up to deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/132445 but figured it should get it's own post as it's for a limited time and could be overlooked if I added it to the previous deal. Costco now has a $10 promotional coupon for this player, bringing the price down to $84.95. You don't need an actual coupon - it is automatically applied at checkout. But you need a Costco membership.

Regular price from other vendors still seems to be $104.95 as per the original deal post.

From my reading, the S4100 is exactly the same as the S5100 that was recently discounted to $99, but lacks the WiFi capability.

    very true … but unfortunately Costco does not mention the model number of the bluray player … and models 1100, 3100, 4100 and 5100 all look identical, and s4100 and s5100 are both 3D. So there is no way of knowing which version has $10 off without going into the store. Also - anybody searching OzBargain for a blu ray player would not find that post because there is no mention of blu ray anywhere … unless you specifically know to check costco coupons for the period of Feb 15 to March 2. I know I've been looking for a blu ray player since missing the s5100 deal, and that Costco coupon post did not come back in any of my search results.

  How is the DLNA functionality on this Sony, can it play everything or does it have issues?
