You were more than likely negged for even thinking there was any comparison between the two. Ikea's kitchen gadgets really ARE incredibly good.
For those who haven't tried it, their garlic press is by far the BEST garlic press we've ever had. We even have a spare for in case we ever lose ours and they stop stocking it. lol

Puhaha.Seriously, though, those cheap ones from the supermarkets really are junk. Don't waste your money. The one they sell in the box (don't remember the brand sorry) is quite good, but is usually around $14, sometimes comes on special for around $10.
