[STEAM] Assassin's Creed Franchise - Steam Daily Deal

380

Great for those that want Steam copies. They rarely go on sale on steam and all external sites usually sell Ubisoft DRM copies

Game Standard Deluxe Discount
Assassin's Creed $2.49 n/a 75%
Assassin's Creed 2 n/a $2.98 75%
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood $4.48 $19.99 75%
Assassin's Creed Revelations $4.48 $6.23 75%
Assassin's Creed 3 $7.48 $12.48 75%
Assassin's Creed 4 $41.97 $47.97 40%
Assassin's Creed Liberation $20.96 n/a 25%

AUD is cheaper than US expect for Liberation and IV. I don't think it's worth grabbing these two games at this price point unless you must have it now.

    These still use ubisoft drm just so you know.

    I like everything on steam too.

      Yes your right. It's like a double DRM. I like having everything in my Steam library is possible.

      I believe the first series and revelations do not use Ubisoft DRM at all

      Highly recommend any Steam buyers use Enhanced Steam to compare prices, check DRM, highlight games you own or that are on your wishlist etc.

        Revolutions uses uPlay, if that's the DRM you're referring to.

        • Yeah my bad. The Revelations must have not loaded fully for me (happens when I have downloads in the background with my crappy ADSL2 speeds). Revelations is clearly Uplay.

          Looks like only the first Assassin's Creed is free of Uplay. But don't trust me. I have been wrong before :)

        • Basically, if anyone is after any others except 1 and 2, then buy them from the links I posted in a comment below as they are cheaper..

          As stated above, all games except the first, use Uplay anyway..

          So if you like to have all your games in one place like me (ie. Steam) then just add them as non-steam games to your Steam library.

    Bloody Brotherhood deluxe edition is still $20!?

    Why would I bother buying the basic edition for a game so many years old? You'll have to do better than that Ubi. I can wait. It's not like I don't have dozens of great games unplayed on my steam account already…

  • which of these titles is the best to play and graphics wise for an OzBargainer whom is new to the franchise?

    • +1

      Apparently the second one is one of the best in the series, everyone always tells me to start off with that one

    • Assassin's Creed 4 is pretty sweet. I'm playing it on PS3 though.

      If you're PC has enough beef to handle it then go for it.

    • I quite enjoyed Revelations

  • Trying to decide whether to go for AC4 for my PC or my PS4… the price difference is making a strong case for PC!

    • Surely PC is much better? Any advantage to PS4 version at all?

      • Can't really think of anything actually. Maybe he fact that I don't need to download it, but that's about it.

  • Hmm…should I get AC1 first or AC2…

    • Lot's of people recommend AC2 as the best starting point.

      (I enjoyed AC1 but lost interest half-way through - I'll hopefully get back to it eventually).

      • I loved AC1 and played through it twice. AC2 was also great though I don't think I ever completed it.

        If you think you'll enjoy running around stabbing people in the face then I'd say start with AC1 and go from there. Get the whole story.

        I still prefer Altair as a character too, always thought Ezio was a bit of a douche.

    For anyone after any of the other games except 1 and 2, then go through these sites as it is cheaper =)
    Then just add them to your Steam library if you want them all in one place!

    Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag

    Go2Arena = €14.99 or ~$23.98 AUD
    G2A = €14.99 or ~$23.98 AUD

    Assassin's Creed Liberation HD

    Online-Gold = $14.52 AUD
    Go2Arena = €9.99 or ~$15.98 AUD

    Assassin's Creed III - Special Edition

    uPlay = $7.49 AUD

    Please Note:
    As well as being cheaper then the Standard Edition on the Steam Store, The Special Edition includes a Bonus Single Player Mission "A Dangerous Secret"

    Assassin's Creed Revelations

    uPlay = $4.49 AUD

    Assassin's Creed Brotherhood

    uPlay = $4.49 AUD

    • Haven't used any steam CD key resellers before. Are the ones that you have listed safe to use? Any problems with getting the CD keys? Any issues re customer support and refunds? Ta.

      • These sites only sell the Uplay copies of the games. However all of the ones bought through the steam store bar the first game, still run through the Uplay DRM anyway.

        As far as safe goes.. I have used uPlay which is the Ubisoft DRM store, so it's safe.. I have also used G2A and G2Arena which are both safe..

        I have never used the Online-Gold one before, but if you do a Google search you can find out.. Here is a review http://www.trustpilot.co.uk/review/online-gold.de
