  • anyone tried this before? what if you're toes are too small? pretty expensive stuff!

    • I've helped half my family and a bunch friends get these, and out of 10 or so people we've all been able to find a size that fits us well enough. From what I read on their site, only the most uncommon foot shapes have problems, so most people fall within an acceptable range of toe lengths.

The important thing is to fit these to the longest toe (which will be either your big toe or the 'index' toe). Also keep in mind one foot is often larger than the other, so you will need to fit to the larger foot. It's more important that the shoes aren't too short. Whereas it's ok to have a bit of freedom in the toes. If you're lucky though, you'll get a perfect fit, in which case I'll envy you. Mine are a little bit loose, but they're great none-the-less.

  • The individual toes look cute - like some sort of dinosaur!

It's good if you are committed to bare foot running. It does take some time to get use to and is difinitely more natural form of running. Surprisingly it actually reduces injuries when done properly.

    • Yeh I didn't want to ramble too much in the main post, but they're brilliant for all around foot health. None of those bs orthopedic insoles… Many if not most problems people have with their feet, and certainly low archs or flat feet are caused by weakened muscles in the foot. All because footware is designed to provide more and more support, which means all the little muscles which would normally do this naturally, are instead unused (or used less) and hence get weaker. Orthopedic insoles only provide even more support, they treat the symptoms but don't fix the problem because the muscles get even less work and weaken further leading to injury.

  • They look really cool, I'm wondering if the private health funds will allow you to claim under orthopedic shoes.
