Happen to look at the expiry dates?
Not saying they're not a bargain, but so are the pack of 40 AA's from the $2 shop that have you switching them out for new ones every second day.
Batteries past their used by have a very similar dissipation rate. :)I had a look at the varta ones, and it didn't have an expiry on them, then I took a pic and left :)
