Awesome price for a good Korean beer. If you eat at Korean restaurants, you probably know this brand.. one of the big brands in Korea. 4.5% alcohol and at this price.. cheers!

Love this stuff. Got some OB lager in Marsfield for 31$ on another note
yep OB is the bomb… I also love hite.
the korean market i go to sells OB in the soft drink fridge.. :) Win! but im sure it aint legal…Australia and New Zealand I think are the only countries that don't allow alcohol to be sold in the stupormarkets…USA, Europe, Asia…it's all sold in grocery stores and it's all around 50c a bottle.
err, aldi sells beer and so do most asian groceries.
NZ you can buy alcohol in the supermarket unless things have changed in the last year or two
As above lots of supermarkets sell alcohol. (In victoria at least)
Not for 50c a bottle though!
Much of Canada has much tougher laws than here. Not to mention most of the Middle East :D
After living/travelling back and forth to Korea over the past 10 years this is a beer I avoid… along with hite and ob. Mix it with soju and you're good to go (or not go; case by case).
Still it is a good deal and an if forced to recommend a mass produced Korean beer, this would be it.
Yeah, it's a terrible beer, but a good price I guess if you like it.
It doesn't have much taste to it. But $24 is good price, if you just wanna get drunk.
I remember being fed lots of soju on my bucks night and the only thing to wash it down was cass. Tasted like mothers milk at the time and would happily do it again for $24
Each to their own…but I've had this once.
…once.
Pretty good deal, can't wait to down some of these in a soju bomb :)
dammit, what can't these be in vic
I grabbed this today at KT Mart on Elizabeth St in the city for $21.50

seems quite a decent Korean. if only Dan's would supply similar.
We LOVE Korean food at my house and so I have had Korean beer a lot.
Probably prefer Hite, but (dare I say it to a Korean) Asahi Super Dry trumps em all.You misspelled shite.
Brilliant
There is a Korean bbq restaurant in Little Bourke St, Melbourne that I like to have dinner at occasionally. A massive serve of marinated bbq'd meats and a couple of cheap Korean beers go down very nicely indeed :)
Anyone tried the Aldi beer in cans they also sell for $24 a case ?
Yes, but it's $25 for the full strength stuff, at least in NSW.
It's made in Vietnam, nothing special, but I find it more drinkable than say a VB. Not that that's saying much of course.Looks agreeable, thanks.

Are these made in korea?
