For those who have been waiting for it to go on sale again!
Great price for a 1440p monitor.
Looks like the price went up by a bit from the last sale (about $14). Maybe ask the Dell rep for a discount?

Decent price on the Dell, but as besmirched says, the QNIX/Catleap etc monitors on eBay are much cheaper.
I'm curious, IIRC the QNIX Q270 is still sold as an 'overclockable' panel (though not guaranteed to hit 120hz, obviously) panel - how do these particular Dell panels compare in that regard? I'm keen to upgrade to a 27" 1440p 75+hz panel from my existing Dell 2209.
I have one of the first revisions of u2713hm, over a year old (still love it). Overclocking attempts have allowed increases to 85hz, but visually I can see frame skips at all points until reduced back to 60hz. I have read people with later revisions having success.
If you have a read of all the previous deals for Dell U2713HM you'll find some good information regarding the option of going for QNIX when compared to the Dell.
Essentially, you're paying the lower price for QNIX when compared to Dell where you'll get better support/returns for dead pixils, warranty/replacement, adjustable height and rotate, USB 3 ports, HDMI/DVI/VGA/DP connections (some QNIX etc also have these, but there's a small price bump for it IIRC) and yeah, that's all I can think of right now :p.
Anyways, I was in the same boat to choose a korean panel or the Dell. I ended up grabbing a Dell because I already had a U2711, so now I've got a U2711 and a U2713HM.
The U2713HM is a great monitor by the way. I'm really contemplating grabbing another one because of the heat difference of the U2711 compared to U2713HM; about ~100W to ~40W IIRC. Massive difference in heat when you actually touch the top of the monitor.
I've never tried overclocking mine.
AG Coating is also not as aggressive as U2711, but if you got used to the U2711 AG Coating, any other monitor from now on is a viewing pleasure.
I had the U2711. It felt like I was sitting in front of a giant radiator. Sold it, now I have 2 U2713HMs and I'm very happy with them =D
Good move! Glad to know someone feels the same about the heat of the U2711 lol.
I have 2 u2711's and I feel they run cooler when the brightness is turned down a long way (say 15 compared to 85). They still feel like they are on fire, just less so.
Good tip, I'll give it a shot and see how it goes.
Thanks for the feedback everyone, greatly appreciated.
Just did a live chat with Dell and they wouldn't budge to bring it lower even after I said I purchased one in Jan 13th for $574.
No luck, will continue waiting again.
Spoken like a true Ozbargainer. Infinite patience to save $20. Like any technology purchase, if you wait long enough, you'll get the price you perceive is the right price eventually. Although you'll probably have burnt through your $20 in additional electricity costs with your current monitor.
I suspect the Oz dollar weakness is starting to show in prices and suppliers are struggling to hold their prices, let alone drop them further. You could be waiting a while.
I dunno if that is a great price for a 1440p monitor if they selling on ebay Korean 27inch monitors for more than $200 less delivered.
