Dr Mario. Perfect example of branding. It is a tetris clone on the original gameboy gazillion years ago!
$20 for Tetris, it doesn't sound like such a bargain…
It's not a "clone" because it doesn't involve making lines. It's stacks of 4. Very similar. Dont want anyone to be confused.
Nintendo is so hard to understand, why in the world would anyone want to play the NES version if they have the new Wii U version? Dr. Luigi actually includes a traditional Dr. Mario mode so the gameplay is exactly the same.

One of my most favorite games on the Amiga is Dr Mario. Its Tetris genre but instead of making lines, you drop to match the 4 of the same color to remove viruses. Great fun on multiplayer and it has handicap options. Baku Baku is another one in the genre that comes to mind.
