  same deals you find with hotels combined. apparently Surfers Paradise should be avoided due to violence at night so booked Burleigh Heads (Key Largo Apartments 6 nights for $520 2 Bed Room apartment with a better trip advisor rating than both the above for less than half the best price above)

    I live in Surfers Paradise and drink there regularly at night. You generally only get problems if you go looking for it. You'd be surprised, its quite family friendly.

      haven't been but after booking at Surfers Paradise 4 different people told me not to stay there (and these people go often) as its very rough. Looked online and there is bikie war going on according to the news. so cancelled Surfers Paradise and booked Burleigh Heads. anything wrong with Burleigh Heads ??

        There's been one (1) notable disturbance involving bikies and that was at Broadbeach, not Surfers. It was also quite some time ago.

        Nothing wrong with Burleigh Heads as such, unless you were hoping to be close to the nightlife and theme parks.

        As for these prices, you can do better on Wotif and you only have to stay one night.

        If you check the prices on Wotif, e.g. on the week of 17 Feb 2014, the price of Soul Surfers Paradise for 6 people stay is $486 per night with a minimum stay of 3 nights. For the same period, if you look at the prices for 6 people stay at Circle on Cavill, their lowest prices are $384 per night for Sunday to Thursday, and $695 & $753 for Friday & Saturday respectively, and there is a minimum of 3 nights stay requirement.
