Pretty sure the 40% is off the RRP, not priceline's regular cheap price.
Last time I looked at their 40% off special, some perfumes were dearer at 40% off, than their smaller discounts off their regular price.

  Yeah just had a look at the prices. The ones I'm interested in are at their regular prices despite having 40% off next to it.

  Agreed. Priced an EDT online yesterday at $59.00. Today, with 40% off, the price is $59.40.

they always bump up prices for the period of this deal. Don't bother for stuff that is regularly discounted there it will be more expensive during the sale.

I noticed that Chemist Warehouse had bumped up their EDT prices this week in time for valentines day too
