wow that's terrible.. can't imagine what it's like with 'night vision'.
All night vision does is turn the IR LEDs on… which the windshield will simply reflect back into the lens and possibly cause some glare in the footage. Besides, the lights aren't simply powerful enough to illuminate anything past your car bonnet.
High end dashcams don't use IR LED lighting, they simply use software to enhance the image in poor lighting conditions.

Clearly it's wrong!
LCD panel swivels 270 degrees. The FOV of the camera lens is 140.

Don't buy this, well not from the buyer I linked to. First day of it today and it's junk.
I think this is one of the fake G1W units I read about. It is not even close to the results of the YouTube videos.
I sent the unit back today. They answered my ebay message pretty quickly, and said to send it back for refund. $18.50 for registered return.
Once I get my credit i will buy one of the genuine ones from an ebay listed confirmed as good in one of the YouTube videos.
It looks pretty chunky.
Doesn't sound very friendly - it has "Anti-handshaking technology"
Great for recording the collision you're inevitably going to have with one of these hanging off your windscreen or dash.
