      Hi Nosdan,

Thanks for the feedback, in order to try and match what you have found we have reduced the deal to start from $155.

      • +1

you are meant to have checked that your price is the cheapest available anywhere (not just in your shop) BEFORE posting it as a deal. your not just meant to wait till us users do your job for you. now that you are simply price matching/beating other peoples prices you have actually broken the posting rules anyway i believe.

if i was in the market for fans right now (which im not caus i bought 2 from another deal on here a while back) id support the other people i posted because they gave a better deal straight away without the ripoff spam you posted up…..

          Hi Nosdan,

Lesson learnt, and appreciate the feedback, we had actual checked across other retailers with physical stores as well but we will endeavor to do better next time. Please also keep in mind the total shipping cost as well. While the ebay listing had the fan cheaper, after shipping we were on par with the listing (and approx +$5 on the others depending on postcode). But as mentioned we will try to get a better deal for you next time.

looks identical to yours, with remote for $170…. you want $215 for the same "deal"

          Hi Nosdan,

While it does look similar it is a different brand so not as straight forward to compare, but will keep in mind for next time.

        • it is a different brand

but probably made by the same chinese factory meaning they are identical in every way

not as straight forward to compare

          yea, it pretty much is.
regardless of brand, they are all generally the same standard of quality no matter how much you lie about them being "top quality" or "built for harsh Australian conditions"… seriously, you actually expect us to believe your having fans specificity designed and manufactured for you differently to your competition who just buy in what ever there export agents try to sell them?

          Hi Nosdan,

I can't comment on the manufacturing process as we are distributors of the product you can find helpful information direct on the Hunter Pacific website about their designs, manufacturing and awards their fans have won: http://www.hunterpacific.com.au/about-us.php

There can be differences between brands in quality and hence the difference in their price points. Some fans begin to click and make noises after a while. Hunter Pacific have a strong warranty and service, you can find more information about that here: http://www.hunterpacific.com.au/service.php

    Note a bargain:
    $166.10 at Oz Lighting
    $169 at Lighting Illusions

    • Hi BlueMM,

Considering it is now the cheapest, I've revoked my negative vote. Not the ideal way to post a deal, but at least the rep was willing to correct a mistake.
Also, can't agree with nosdan about ceiling fans are all the same. Sure they are all probably made in China, but Hunter Pacific have a very good reputation & do very well on Choice tests.

  • As per above links, available cheaper everywhere else, definitely no bargain here, just spam.

    • Hi Pmupsinep,

As per the replies to the links above we have been able to adjust our pricing to try and beat legitimate prices. Our intention is not to spam you guys and all feedback is welcome and we will do our best for requests where possible.

  • built for harsh Australian conditions

Get your hand off it mate, its just an indoor ceiling fan. Made in China, no doubt.

Stratco are advertising with remote and light included for $79.

    • Hi Manic,

Thanks for the feedback, we are here to try and provide the best deal we can for you guys. Where the others have posted links as examples we have been able to act on this. Would you happen to have a link where we can actually see the same product advertised for $79?

You have described a bog-standard generic 3-speed 4-blade domestic ceiling fan with oyster light.
"Highest quality" blah blah, but no actual engineering specification to say it is any better than others.
Flat plywood blades are certainly not going to be exceptionally efficient or quiet.

    Hi Manic,

With out having the engineering specifications supplied (i have trouble finding consumer products on here that do supply you with a full engineering specification) I am not sure how you were able to come to this conclusion but i have tried to find out some more information for you.

If you click through to our landing page there is a link to the manufacturer's brochure which explains that the product is in fact suitable for Coastal/Indoor/Outdoor Undercover Installation, however in high humidity places the wooden blades may swell and therefore over time needing to be replaced. The main structure of the fan however should be fine. It also states that this series of fans have been designed and engineered in Sydney. You can find this at the bottom of the product brochure located here: http://www.hunterpacific.com.au/intercept/images/Intercept.p…

If you would like more technical information we also provide a link to the installation manual on our landing page as well: http://www.hunterpacific.com.au/intercept/images/INTERCEPT-M…

You are correct though in stating that this is a 3 speed 4 blade ceiling fan with wooden blades, however we feel that we have priced this accordingly and have tried to take on everyone's feedback and beat any comparable competitive price. We also understand that this is not a one size fits all fan and may not fit your requirements as they may be greater and we welcome you to look at our other fans as we have a variety, from the basic indoor ceiling fan to marine grade 316 stainless steel, however these are priced accordingly and will not be in the same price range.

If there is anything else i could help you with please do not hesitate to ask.
