Some really good deals here, personally I'll be grabbing The Wolf Among Us, Tearaway and Spiderman (Vita) and I'll take a look at the price of Knack.

    Also TLoU is cheap.

  • +3

Why do they never show aud? My bet is because our price is marked up so much.

    • Yeah it's annoying. I use the percentage of the discount against the regular AU price though as a rough estimate as to what the AU sale price will be.

  • +1

Wow, you have gone all out with the name change Mr Cake.

  • My god, Terraria is on PS Vita??!?!?? What have i been doing with my life!

    • +1

Playing it on PC, iOS and android?
It came to vita dead last and at a much higher price too.

  • Thanks for this, I'm in for 'Stick it to the Man'. Looks interesting.

    • +1

Note that 'Stick it to the man' is not crossbuy and on the Australian store it's only available on PS3, not Vita.

      • Huh?
I purchased the Ps3 version yesterday night when the deal went live.
I then added the ps vita version into my cart and it came up as $0.00

Playing it on my vita now

        • Yeah it's Cross Buy alright.

  • This sucks because my Vita is on the US store and I don't want to run multiple accounts, too much hassle.

Hope it comes to the US PSN. I want Spelunky and Metal Gear Solid HD.

    • +2

US PSN had an amazing sale a month ago, I hope you took advantage of that.

    • I picked up Spelunky last month for $3 from US PSN.

Also Killzone Mercenary a few weeks ago for $7 and Tearaway just before xmas for $12.

Sorry you missed it but you should keep your eye out. I'm sure most will be on sale again in the next month or so.

Best bet is to check blog.us.playstation.com every Tuesday/Wednesday for the weekly sales! :)

  • It looks like they have matched the exchange rate on the Australian store.

    Example:

    Terraria's price is currently
    EU Store = €10.04
    AU Store = $15.23

Matches the current 1.52 exchange rate.

    • I was really surprised about Spiderman for Vita, $14.95. Even better than I had hoped and way better than exchange rate!

      £12.94/€14.79 = ? AU$14.95 lol

      • Nice, didn't notice that. It made me want to buy it until I looked at the reviews.

        • Review I read said the game was good, full of content but overpriced as it's a port of an older game now.

        • Metacritic has it at 58/100 but the scores range from 40 - 91 so I guess it's a game that you love or hate. Apparently it's fun but the dumbed down graphics look terrible at times and the game is extremely buggy. Still looks like it may be worth a go for the price.

According to IGN the game will often run at about 3 frames per second making it impossible to play in sections.

  • what would the rough price on Tearaway be?

    • +1

Going by what we've seen so far anywhere between $15 - $20

      • cheers

  • Finally a sale worth looking at.

  • Doesn't look that cheap. Might as well get the disc games? Unless you want casual games.

  • I don't have any of the ps3 games, what's a worthwhile buy? Also, anything semi decent to play with/next to kids?

    • +1

Kids / Castle Of Illusion, Spelunky (depending on their age as it does have lots of deaths) and Thomas Was Alone

For you, Gran Turismo 6 $44, Terraria (think 2D Minecraft), Hotline Miami (think old top down view GTA with quick missions based on trial and error and banging soundtrack), The Wolf Among Us (fairytale-esque episodic action drama), Stick It To The Man (Hilarious off-beat adventure RPG), Urban Trial Free Style (Excellent 2.5D freestyle motocross game)

      • Thanks! will check them out..

  • Oh yeah! Spelunky for Vita on the cheap and Tearaway upcoming. I have not regretted buying a Vita since picking one up in Nov :D

  • How doez it work? Just use my ps network account to buy and download to my ps vita memory card? If i accidently delete the games i downloaded can i download again for free or need to pay again? Soz never bought any ps games fron sony network b4.

    • Once you buy the game it is yours for life. Just redownload it from the store if you delete it at any time.

  • Thanks, bought Grid 2, for 13.6AUD, a pretty decent deal
