  • Discontinued printer released in around 2009. No wireless and cartridges are pretty expensive, although high capacity. More than the printer cost!

Couldn't find many erviews but weren't that glowing and seems to be issues with excess toner spilling out.

    • If the supplied toner does 10k (yeah, yeah, I know "up to") pages as suggested then this works out to 2c per page, printer effectively thrown in for free. Good enough for me. Thanks OP.

Good point on the toner. I posted a similar deal before on the T650dn for $263 and people were buying in bulk just for the toner. Apparently these OEM cartridges sell for more than $200 on ebay.

        • That previous Grays Online deal has some good info in the comments about refilling cartridges yourself if anyone is interested in saving money on them.

        • yikes

I wouldn't be too harsh on this deal, these printers are designed for robust office use, they can't really be compared to the "typical" ozbargain printer. Years ago I used to deal in IT Salvage and these (their earlier incarnations) used to sell for $2000-3000 new and still pull around $400-500 after 100,000-200,000 pages. If you need a printer to sit alongside you and knock out customer receipts all day, every day etc (Think doc surgery, mechanic workshop etc) - this is the one for you.

    • Yes it's not a typical every day home printer. This is an office laser printer. It's amazing how much laser printers have gone down in price. Look at the RRP $2,528.90 i suppose that's how much it originally cost when it was first released. Massive drop in price. Going by the specs this printer is designed to spit out up to 225,000 pages per month.

      • I think some places may be actually still getting close to RRP for it. A search on staticice shows Harris Technology for example selling for around $1800. They obviously have a very different clientele to OO however.

  • We use this line of printers in our office and find them quite good, even after three years of reasonably heavy use. At this price they're definitely a steal if you need a networked printer with decent throughput.

  • 10000 pages, wow.

    • I think my missus would kill me if I bought another printer lol
(I have a DocuPrint CP305d, P205b, a all in one Brother laser and a HP inkjet)

      • If you were to buy a new printer this would be the one to get. 25,000 pages per toner cartridge although with a price tag to match they're not cheap at all. Look the genuine 25,000 page cartridge is $360.71 delivered. wow. But i suppose businesses could afford that price tag.

The printer does come with a 10,000 page starter cartridge though that isn't bad well for average home users that could last maybe 6 months or more.

        • For my home use 10,000 pages would last about 1000 years. lol

        • Yes for some people this $199 investment will last them for years. Every cent well spent.

        • It's a good printer and price, but I'll never print that many pages in the rest of my life, now that everything is going electronic, which probably explains why these printers are turning up as bargains. Snap it up, you business people who need it.

Price is showing now as $199.00 so an extra 95c off since the thread was created. I suppose the thread title will need to be updated to reflect the new $199 price. Save the 95c for a bottle of spring water or some thing..

    • It is actually EXPIRED. If you add it to cart it will go up to $399.

      • Still works for me.

        • Still working for me too. Just added it to cart as $206.95 order total.

        • Looks like they added an extra 24 hours to the deal.

        • Price is now $399. Was a good buy for the $199.

        • $49.95 for delivery now too… :(

  • None on their site anymore.

  • Available again at $199.95 but with $49.95 postage. Limited time.

  • Our Price: $399.00 = no thanks. looking for a good wireless printer though.
