(BEST) prepaid creditcard for AU

I would like the following, the one i select will be the one closest to the wish list; as follows

  • cheapest/free to buy up front
  • cheapest/free to recharge
  • cheapest/free to transact on in AU
  • cheapest/free to withdraw in AU cash@ATM
  • cheapest/free to for overseas transaction currency fee's
  • cheapest/free to withdraw in OS cash@ATM
  • BPAY and/or BSB account to recharge

Anything else i have forgotten to ask or compare on… Just add…

My use is local for the moment, i just want to STOP givinf direct debit CC info to companies that can milk you dry and for security

But i intend to travel and would like to have the same, simple access and no get shafted on hiden fee's on recharge/conversions

ANY advice would be appreciated and i may decide to have 2 prepaid CC's, one for debits, ebay/paypal ect and another for travel if thats smartest…. Thanks in advance ozbarginers

    Whilst not strictly a "prepaid credit card", get a Citibank plus bank account. Includes a Visa debit card, no fees charged by Citibank on anything that you mentioned, and it's still only whatever money you have in the account can be debited.

    no PP/CC experiences?

    load&go has ATM withdrawal fee's and its pretty low, like $250 a week (not that its a deal breaker)
