Best Domain Registrar To Transfer My Domains To?

Hey guys, I currently have around 30 domains which include; .com .com.au and .net domains.

I currently have them registered over three different domain registrars which are GoDaddy, CrazyDomains and CheaperDomains.

I would like to transfer them all to a good registrar that always has good renewal prices as well as new domain prices.

The new registrar will also need to have free DNS Management and Nameserver Management because from memory one of the registrars I have used does not allow DNS Management without a fee or going through hoops to manage them.

If possible I would like to set up the domains to renew on a certain date, instead of all over the year.

Overall, I would just like a registrar with good prices, good service and good features.

Any help would be greatly appreciated =)

For Australian registrars I use VentraIP — one of the cheapest around with lots of freebies thrown in (WHOIS privacy, DNS, etc).

    • Thanks for the details scotty, they look like a good company..

Although it could be quite exxy transferring all my domains if they charge $11.95 per domain =(

      • .com.au domain transfers should be free, and the renewal date does not change. However, the $12 fee for transferring .com/.net domains is normal, as they come with 1 years renewal added to the expiry date.

  • With VentraIP, it's a good idea to keep an eye on https://www.facebook.com/ventraip for any deals.

  • webhostingpad, its cheap (pay 5 years at a time for less than one here and inc UNLIMITED hosting too!)

I use mine to redirect to FB, its a waste but cheapest is best

As a .com registrar I use and rate namecheap. They have a promo on, 'Move Your Domain Day', on 05/02/2014 - $4 per domain and 75% off hosting plans:

    https://www.namecheap.com/campaigns/2014/moveyourdomainday-f…

They have decent DNS hosting including updating a-records with a dynamic IP if you're running services from home and most of the common record types (although they don't have full BIND support like Gandi do) as well as cheap SSL and whois privacy protection (free for first year I think).

Personally though I always use Cloudflare for my DNS hosting. They're free (for most users) and can do wonders for cutting bandwidth and boosting speed from your webhosts if you enable their caching.

Namecheap (registrar) and Cloudflare (DNS host) is my go-to setup.

I recommend Namesilo.com with a coupon for .coms/.nets etc. Free whois privacy and cheapest renewal. :D

  • I suggest you can transfer to http://www.9cubehosting.com/ where they offer domain names at low cost with inclusion of economical freebies like free Full DNS Control,Domain Registrar Change, Free Whois etc.The domain pricing is for yearly and hence the renewal also will be mostly on yearly basis.
