Dr Oetker Ristorante Frozen Pizza - $4 (Was $6.99) @ Coles WA

150

They come on special for as low as $3.49 (1/2 price), but still a pretty good buy at $4.

Not sure if other states have the same offer?

Edit: credits to muncan, deal is national https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/132056#comment-1819119

  • how can anyone be bothered cooking this?

I rather pay the extra $2-3 about get one already cooked from PH or Dom.

    • +2

Why not? Just put in the oven at 220 for roughly 15mins. That's it.

    • +2

      because i push a but·ton & 5 min later whirlpool.crisperplate.convection.µwave has it available.

      • Just a word of warning, I own the VT266 model of the crisp microwave convention oven by whirlpool. I was cooking salmon as per normal and when I opened the door, A flame twice came out of the grill on the right side near the door. I quickly shut the door and unplugged it and it didn't seem to catch fire. Thinking the sticker which was near the fan which initially came a bit loose might have tampered with the fan in the back right corner.

These pizza's are great. I cooked mine in the oven for 15mins on the same crispy plate and not Microwave for the reason above.

    • Because unlike most frozen pizza, these are delicious and I don't want to have to go pick one up from Dominos or wherever.

Each to their own but these are super convenient and tasty and this price a huge bargain

Have you tried these? They taste better than PH's garbage pizzas.

  • Anyone else think these pizzas are way too salty?

  • all frozen pizzas tast like frozen pizzas… alright for teens or if you have had a few and haven't eaten for so long that you have forgotten what food tastes like.

    • +1

Incorrect, these are delicious. In my own, never humble, opinion anyway :-)

      • lol and so is dominios. pizza hut…… but frozen pizza and the fast food chains are not real pizza

  • +2

    Yummers!

    OP - it's national

Best frozen pizza on the market by a country mile, great price. Those Germans sure do know how to make a good frozen pizza!

  • +3

it does taste good for frozen….a good vegetarian range. adding your own extras works well on these pizzas

  • +4

Most certainly the best frozen pizzas I've ever eaten. Better than many chain store pizzas even.

    • Hmmm.
Nope they're still the best frozen pizzas.

If we start boycotting things because of events that happened over 80 years ago, we will have to boycot just about everything.
Apologies need to be made, but the world can't stop because of it. Move on. It's not like they can go back and change it now.

    • +1

Oh god. Wet should never ever forget what happened during those times but it's been several generations since the war and outs aftermath, we need to get over these kinds of "links" and move on. No one managing the company now would have even been alive then.

Never forget but let's collectively move on.

    • +2

If you are going to go down that track pretty soon you'll find hardly any company has a pristine history. Why not concentrate on what companies are doing now that should be changed? Things like palm oil, factory labour conditions, etc. etc.

    • Pretty sure Steve Jobs was a bit of a ^%#£@& but people managed to look past that and purchase & enjoy his products.

  • If anyone is able to offer intel as to whether this is national or not that would be amazing

  • +2

+1 for quality of these pizzas.

    Much much better than dominos.

  • These are the only frozen pizza's I'll eat, and the only time I get domino's now is when they give me free pizza's.
