Be careful with Amazon's cheap "Global Expedited Shipping". I ordered one of these SSDs in November last year and it took a month to get here. Found it in a plain envelope in the front yard where the postie had hurled it. Label said "no signature required".
Poor form for no signature, but the postie seems to have let you down there the most, not amazon.
yeah amazon has good customer service if it happens that your items go missing, they'll give you a refund or send you another one, no questions ask.
I've had nothing but excellent service from Amazon every other time I've used them so this was obviously an aberration. I suspect the cheap shipping meant that it was sent via Antarctica, by camel. No more $7 shipping for me (especially on such an expensive item).
Odd because of all the times ive ordered with expedited shipping with amazon (which is quite a number of times) they have used DHL Express which has always arrived within 5 business days.
Same for me, but it's never been such cheap shipping. Mine came via "DPGM_T_N_T Int'l Shipping", who I've never heard of. Tracking was useless.
Ordered mine around 28th November or so and got mine on January 7!
Posties hurl in your front yard? Eww.
almost at 0.50c a GB, very impressive
Not when our poor AUD takes a dive. $689 from a reputable Aussie store, so it's a good deal
I take it, it doesn't fit in laptops?
Yep it does, fits laptops that can take both 7mm and 9.5mm drives (which covers 99% of laptops)
Ah bugger it's 32gb mSATA which I wanted to replace the other SSD is the 512gb which I don't think will be worth replacing :(

Hmmm do I pay the extra or live with it hmmm Just spent $2k on the laptop another $300 on extra warranty… hmm would rather do the SSD now then later due to backing up ect
Could of saved $300 on the "extra" warranty and then you wouldn't have been in this dilemma - Stat Guarantee http://www.fairtrading.nsw.gov.au/ftw/Consumers/Consumer_gua…
Just bought the 240GB of that for $219 at PC Case Gear, somewhat attractive though
im surprised nobody has jumped and said it'd be perfect for the PS4… !?
Crucial Or Cruical ? OP has put wrong brand
1 day in the not-too-distant future, poor ozbargainers like me will be able to use SSDs for storage. 1 day.
Did anyone actually manage to order this?
I am getting "Cannot ship to your address"
