Retrolink USB GameCube Controller $25, Ultimate Retro Controller Bundle $90 (Excludes Delivery)

90

Hey guys,

I am pretty excited about this deal and I have honestly been waiting for these controllers to become available for a long time since the GameCube is actually my favourite controller.

The quality of the RetroLink controller is fantastic and the first thing I did was compare it with my official GameCube controller and apart from the logo I couldn't tell any difference. Another quality controller from RetroLink.

The current deals at my shop are below.

RetroLink USB GameCube controller Black or Purple $25 (normally $30)
Controller bundle NES, SNES, SATURN, N64 and Gamecube bundle $90 (Extra Snes controller Bonus on top of discount) (Normally $100)
RetroLink USB Nintendo 64 controller $22 (Normally 24)
Twin pack USB Snes Controllers $17 (Normally 19.95)

Stock is limited though.

Cheers

Chris

Sorry but my margins are fairly tight to begin with I can't do massive deals like 40% off. Even taking 20% off would mean I lose money on some items and it honestly wouldn't be worth my while doing it.

The postage is actually spot on what I pay to send up to 500 grams to 3 kilos in Australia and that doesn't include packaging materials. On anything up to 500 grams I actually lose around 15 cents on every item sent. Since I don't have huge margins I can't eat the postage costs.

Thanks, kasp. It's hard for us ozbargainers when we get the direct chinese resellers offering free postage. We have to remember that some of the posters here are "real people" like yourself, and I am fine with you having to keep some margin, or of course it isn't worth it.

I was the same way but when I kept buying stuff from the direct Chinese resellers half the time due to the huge delay in transit by the time I received it I lost interest and what I usually received was absolute rubbish. Eventually I got jack of it which is why I setup my shop.

I can't tell you how many times I have been sent samples from the Chinese factories and vendors and them being absolute rubbish. For instance I was looking for a USB n64 controller and they assured me it was quality and what I received was junk 4 of the buttons were stuck, the analogue stick was rubbish. It took me a long time to find some decent factories and they are more expensive than the rest.

  • edit: answered my own question

  • I love the NES FC Mobile II PAL at $79, but wonder how using a light gun for duck hunt would go on a 2.5 inch screen !!

    • I just dropped the price to 72 :) It is the last one I have in stock and I won't be getting anymore for quite some time. (However no pressure they are a really slow seller so I doubt anyone will snatch it)

I think that is more designed to use a tv out to a crt to play duck hunt. I have to admit playing a light gun game on a 2.5" handheld screen seems kinda strange.

It wouldn't work. Not only due to the size of the screen, but also because of the type of screen. They are only compatible with CRT displays.

  • just quest Kasp, you don't get into trouble with using these controllers designs?

    • I think it's like the US Military. Don't ask. Don't tell.

    • It's fine they are just 3rd party controllers they don't infringe on any copyrights. They are a company just like madcatz except they specialize in retro controllers. Besides none of the controllers I sell were originally available in USB.

  • Are there any wireless versions of these coming out? I realise they will be heavier with batteries and more complex - but I want it!!

    • There are Nes and Snes wireless controllers but they usually go for 40+ dollars. I have one I haven't priced yet or put on my shop.

As for 64, saturn and gamecube I really don't think so. However if you are keen I have a USB adapter for gamecube I can put up on my shop and you can search ebay for the wavebird (The best gamecube wireless controller)

I don't think wireless models will come out for the others just because they aren't as popular and it took this long to get a USB gamecube version.

      • Will you be adding a SNES one?

I might be interested in some wireless SNES controllers. My dear lady would like to play SNES yoshi, but now that I've been forced to sell all my computers, the only pc left is in another room (have a wireless monitor adaptor, just need wireless controllers, to get it all on the TV).

    • I'm actually in the works of building a Bluetooth n64 controller. Will probably be selling off the excess PCBs if there was any interest in them?
