No, this sale is far more organized especially since you need to RSVP. IT can get busy in there, but it is actually a proper store with items on shelves, racks, etc and proper staff to help you try on sizes.
Wear only light t-shirts, it does get very hot and checkout early, the queue at the end of the evening is very long.
It is a different type of ugly compared the warehouse :)
last time i went with my family, it was orderly, not crowded, a good shopping experience.
i didn't think the prices were as low as the warehouse sale but for the safety of youngsters and own sanity, its probably worth the extra dollars!!
Do need to register as there's security at the entrance who checks your name off.

Has anyone RSVPd yet? Would/Do they ask any "taxing" questions i.e. who do you know that works at adidas?

just need ur name, how many people and it is done.
the pic says it's only for friends of an employee.. but i think u can call the number to request a RSVP.

Friend and Family is just really a marketing plot. They want these deals to go viral and into the public domain.

Just came back from there. No NBA mechandise. I spent 456 on track pants, Jacket and shoes. Many ppls there. Great night.
I was also there, and they definitely did have NBA gear. I wasn't looking for any really, but I did at least see NBA tank tops, and I grabbed a Boston Celtics cap (only because green is my favourite colour tho :D)
Didn't compare to the massive clearance sale they had (at site on Dandenong Rd http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/12501) as the retail prices are quite high to begin with. One for the real Adidas brand lovers with money to burn. eg. Shoes 45% off $180, $220, etc…
At least the queue was manageable (mainly because it was stock in the size of a normal store and names were checked off lists on entry).

Just went to Addidas store @ DFO Moorabbin and their prices were all 40-50% off retail.
They had some NBA stuff but it was an Iverson Denver Nuggets jersey for $50.
Was looking for some LA Lakers gear.
