  • Still can't beat $20 from target when they cleared them, but great shaver none the less.

    • wow! you got it for $20

    • Probably the best deal I have gotten through OzBargain. Just about to use it now.
We need a forum where we can reminisce about old bargains (ha!)

3D? I guess that means it does topiary?

    • Only if you wear the right glasses.

  • Anybody know where you can get cheap replacement heads?

($119.95) seems a bit excessive when it is more than 50% of the price.

Thats normal. Where do you think printer manufacturers got their pricing model from?

    • If you search ebay for 'Philips RQ12' you'll find them for around $70-80. They'll be international sellers - unfortunately the falling AUD hasn't helped their pricing.

  • Anyone know where to buy genuine Philips replacement head for a Senso 3D for a reasonable price. They are about $80 and mine needs a new one! Ouch!

    • I had the same issues when getting replacement heads for my Remington. 80$ plus was quoted, I bought 3 complete Philips shavers for $25 each from Big W when they were clearing them out. Bin the entire shave when the heads go blunt.

    • what is unreasonable about a head that lasts for about 2 years when it costs $80

I've been watching out for these ever since I missed the Target deal. They've been "half-price" at $199 ever since.

  • Just buy hair clippers

Never need to buy expensive replacement heads

And you can get a nice stubble

  • Currently $191.52AUD shipped from Amazon (1250x/46). These are pretty much always at around $150-$200 shipped from Amazon.

RQ12 replacement head is $66.32AUD shipped from Amazon.

    • shipping unfortunately is about $50 from what ive seen on that site.

      • The prices I just showed INCLUDE shipping.

        Electric razor: 176.61 + 14.91 shipping = $191.52AUD SHIPPED
        RQ12 carteridge: 57.32 + 9.00 shipping = $66.32AUD SHIPPED

        So I guess 9 and 14 are about 50.

$199 is not currently the best price nor is it a good price.

        • when i try and purchase it says We're sorry. This item can't be shipped to your selected destination. You may either change the shipping address or delete the item from your order.

do you have a link at that price shipped?

        • when i try and purchase it says We're sorry. This item can't be shipped to your selected destination.

          Assuming this Amazon product link,
it wouldn't ship to a Sydney Metro address until I clicked on the 'Clip Coupon' button under the price. So @bxpressiv's price comparison is valid.

        • Except that he's said it's AUD when it's USD. The actual Amazon delivered price is around $220 AUD.

        • This is what I get after applying the $30 off coupon:

          (Edited to show in AUD)

          Items: AUD 212.16
          Shipping & handling: AUD 14.91
          Your Coupon Savings: -AUD 35.55
          Total before tax: AUD 191.52
Estimated tax to be collected: AUD 0.00
          Order total: AUD 191.52

        • Completely missed the coupon.

Whacky co-incidence that it's $191.52 USD without the coupon.

    • It's $191.52 USD delivered. Making it ~$218 AUD.

  • Got this maybe an year back through an Amazon deal for about $100-$110 inc postage. Great shaver, not so great price imo. Most likely can be found for cheaper elsewhere. Try Amazon….

  • The best thing about these 3D shavers is they used to be priced locally around the $400-$500 mark but Amazon pressure has brought them down in recent times. Picked mine up from Shaver Shop for $199 with Philips $50 cash back six months ago so wouldn't be paying over $150 for them.

Where is this extra dimension of hair located that I'm not aware even exists?

    • +1

You're clearly not of an Eastern European background if you have to ask that question.

And this is OzBargain - save $199 and grow a beard.
