The "60-day trial offer" expired more than a year ago.
From the T&C: "Customers must purchase one of the following products on or between 1st January 2012
    and 31st December 2012: P6578, HP6574, HP6570 and HP6370. Final claims close by last

Who cares about the trial the cashback is good see here -> http://www.philips.com.au/e/promo/promotions/personal-care/f…

The Trail offer is mentioned in the OP's copy/paste from the vendors website.
If the product is not suitable or does not work for an individual/purpose, it does not matter how cheap it is or what rebate is offered. Hence, knowing the trail offer is no-longer valid could be equally important as the rebate.

      • Thanks you're right. That link is an updated one compared to the one posted on the Shaver Shop's listing. The new dates as below:
"To participate in the Philips Female Depilation 60 Day Trial Offer:
        1. Customers must purchase one of the following products on or between 1st October
        2013 and 30th September 2014: HP6581, HP6578, HP6575, HP6574, HP6570 and HP6370.
Final claims close by last mail on 30th December 2014."

  • Why is this 'one for the ladies'? I know plenty of guys who would benefit from this deal. All you bears out there - I'm talking to you!

So you know plenty of Gay hairy men then?

      • Actually it was a lighthearted poke at hairy guys in general, particularly when these (often) rather painful devices are targeted at the ladies, and believe me I've tried them. Not sure why sexual orientation has to come into it.

    • Plenty of cyclists on OzBargain too.

  • Do these even work? What about in grown hairs afterwards?

    • They work well - I've used them since I was in my teens. You still get the odd couple of hairs that are missed but overall they do a great job. I haven't had any trouble with ingrown hairs.

Am I missing something? The RRP on Philips website for the HP6581 is $179.95. Maybe Shaver Shop has inflated the RRP.

Edit: Have removed RRP $299.95 from title - please feel free to report if incorrect.

  • It seems that the shaver shop sale is over and the deal no longer results in the item being $99.95 after cashback
    It is now

    Philips
    HP6581 Satin Perfect Deluxe Epilator

    $299.95
    AFTER CASH BACK:
    $219.95
    Product Code: HP6581

    which is very disappointing
There were no dates on when the offer would end
the cashback from philips is still there
However it looks like the shaver shop wishes to make more money and has removed the offer from the last few days
where the item was on sale for $179.95
and jacked the price back up
    Disappointing deal
