Just got email from EB about preowned sale. Normally EB games are very poor value. But I have recently been on the hunt for some select ps3 and xbox 360 games. And there preowned section for $8 is quite good value on some games.

My personal picks are:

Motorstorm - $8 (PS3)

Halo 3 - $8 (Xbox 360)
Halo 3 ODST - $8 (Xbox 360)
Halo Wars - $8 (Xbox 360)
Gears of War - $8 (Xbox 360)
Gears of War 2 - $8 (Xbox 360)
Metro 2033 $8 - (Xbox 360)
Saints Row $8 - (Xbox 360)

EDIT:
Have just looked at there $18 selection of pre owned games, I wouldn't purchase any of these. All are over priced.

The $8 section is good value though as I regularly check Ebay & Gumtree for games and definitely some value to be had on the $8 selection.

    I was looking at some games for my xbox and they were $9 a week ago. The same games have dropped one whole dollar.
    Paying $8 + shipping for games almost a decade old isn't what I had in mind so EB games are my backup in case I can't find some games cheaper.

    I might have bought a stack out of convenience if shipping didn't kill it for me.

      Depends if you consider just under $35 cheap. It'd be brand new and most likely sealed from my past experiences with a shop in mind.

    Popped into the Capalaba store; to see that they had pre-owned Skylanders chars for about $8 (Spyros and Giants). They don't come with the online codes …

    That said; you will find that KMart are selling new Giants for $5 (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/130050)
