  Great game, just a shame they didn't fix things no-brainer things like being able to skip the painful intro.

  Much more enjoyable game when on mute.

      The intro feels like it goes forever, inclueds some of the cheesiest music I've ever suffered through in a video game, and cannot be skipped. Bad enough once, worse when you finish the game and want to play through again on lower difficulty for the different trophies but meh.

      And playing on mute means you don't get things like endless repetitions of "that's the power of the keyblade" in the stadium or the crap like "i might be weak but MY HEART IS STRONG! YOU CANT DEFEAT MY HEART!" etc.

    While I don't agree on the part of "painful intro" and "more enjoyable game when on mute" however I do agree on fixing in-game issues such as:

    • It does not retain the text effects from the PS2 version instead the HD collection uses static text. This can be noticed after Sora defeats his shadow during his dream before waking up on Destiny Island.

    • The HD Collection also does not retain the slow-motion audio effect from the PS2 version once you defeat a boss i.e. plays at normal speed. This is quite strange considering that SE kept the slow motion effect in graphics.

    • Bloom is missing in the fire pillars during the battle with Sephiroth.

    Hopefully a patch will address these issues however it isn't a game breaker - but neither is it the definitive version.

  I saw this a couple days ago too…but I ordered it on New Year's Eve with the double 10%. Worked out to be $43…but you can get it for $35 now :'( And I haven't even received it yet :'(
